I am delighted to welcome you to the School of Sciences (SoS) of the University of Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani, Ghana. Here in SoS, we offer transformational and value-based education in physical and biological sciences, mathematics, computer science, and information technology. We generate, advance, and disseminate knowledge in these various disciplines and provide the enabling platform for building competencies needed for attaining sustainable development goals and the socio-economic development of the nation. We have been doing this excellently since our establishment in 2013.  Succinctly, we provide a congenial environment for teaching and learning that enables our students to acquire knowledge and skills required to become employable, create employment and prepare them for responsible adulthood in the global community. We are relentlessly committed to achieving our goals as we respond to the ever-dynamic society in general and the scientific world in particular. Thus, we seek to impact the world through value-based scientific training, research, and community outreaches. Also, the School offers rigorous and highly demanding but exceedingly rewarding scientific and professional learning experiences using various pedagogical approaches ranging from student-centred learning, problem-based learning, project-based learning, field trips, laboratory practicals, etc.  

At SoS, we see our students as treasures and as our ambassadors and therefore extends the proverbial Ghanaian hospitality and courtesy to them. We believe that our students are important stakeholders and partners as we strive to achieve the core mandate of SoS and that of UENR.
